Okolie's 3-pointer gives Brown OT victory over Columbia

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Obi Okolie's 3-pointer with nine seconds left in overtime gave Brown a 91-88 victory over Columbia on Saturday night.

At the foul line with 13 seconds left, Brown's Brandon Anderson made 1 of 2 free throws with Tamenang Choh snagging the offensive rebound that led to Okolie's 3-pointer. Columbia's Mike Smith missed a layup and Okolie made two more free throws before a desperation heave by Smith.

Anderson scored four points in the final minute of regulation for a three-point lead before Smith hit a 3-pointer with five seconds left.

Desmond Cambridge missed his seven 3-point attempts but was 10 of 13 otherwise to score 23 points for the Bears (11-10, 4-4 Ivy League). Anderson scored 17 points, Zach Hunsaker made five 3s for his 15 points, Choh added 12 and Okolie 11.

Smith scored 22 points, Gabe Stefanini made four 3-pointers and had 20 points, Lukas Meisner also had 20 points with 12 rebounds and Quinton Adlesh had four 3s and 15 points for the Lions (6-15, 3-5).
