MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies waived veteran forward/center Brandan Wright on Saturday.
The 30-year-old Wright averaged 5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 13.6 minutes in 27 games this season, his third with the Grizzlies. He also has played for the Warriors, Nets, Mavericks, Celtics and Suns during a pro career that began in 2007.
The 6-foot-10 Wright has career averages of 7 points and 3.6 rebounds in 427 regular-season games.
