BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Tyler Hall scored 28 points and led five players into double-figure scoring as Montana State cruised past Sacramento State, 92-76 in a Big Sky Conference battle Thursday night.
The Bobcats rebounded from a pair of road losses last weekend.
Sacramento State outrebounded the Bobcats by 10 and won the first meeting, 87-68. This time Montana State returned the favor and outrebounded the Hornets, 38-31.
Montana State (13-12, 6-6) took a 16-point halftime lead, 45-29 and cruised to the win.
Hall was 8 of 13 from the field, including 4 of 8 from distance, and grabbed six rebounds. Zach Green scored 16 points and grabbed six boards, and Devonte Klines contributed 12 points. Keljin Blevins and Harald Frey each scored 10 points.
Justin Strings scored 21 points to lead Sacramento State (6-18, 3-8), with Bryce Fowler adding 13 and Izayah Mauriohoohoo-Le'Afa contributed 11.
