OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Zach Jackson scored 25 points, including the go-ahead bucket, and KJ Robinson added 18 points as Omaha came back to take down Western Illinois 71-68 on Thursday night.

Jackson's floater gave the Mavericks (8-17, 3-6 Summit League) a 69-68 lead with 28.9 seconds left. Jackson then went down the floor and blocked a Dalan Ancrum jumper before Mitch Hahn hit two free throws to ice it.

The Leathernecks (11-12, 2-8) led for much of the first half, stretching their lead to as many as eight, and taking a four-point lead into the break. Robinson took matters into his own hands in the second half, scoring all 9 points in a small 9-2 run to turn the tide. Robinson scored 16 of his 18 after the break. After another Mavericks run put them up seven, Western Illinois answered with a run of its own, outscoring Omaha 9-1 to take a 68-67 lead before Jackson's go-ahead shot.

Kobe Webster had 20 points, 5 boards, and 5 assists for the Leathernecks.
