LIVE FROM NBC — Super Bowl Sunday has become a holiday in North America.
But let’s be honest; not everybody was eagerly watching the matchup between Tom Brady’s Patriots and Nick Foles' Eagles. A lot of us were just in it for the commercials.
With that in mind, here are some of our favorite ads from Super Bowl LII in Minnesota. Cast your vote for your favorite ad in the poll below or tell us where we messed up in the comment section.
Going solo
One of the ads that viewers were most looking forward to seeing came in the form of a much-anticipated teaser during the first quarter: Disney unveiled the official trailer for “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” due out May 25.
And it did not disappoint longtime fans of the series who have anxiously awaited more on the backstory involving beloved characters Han Solo, Lando Calrissian and others.

New Dew
Mountain Dew released an ad over linear television blazing the trail for its new flavor, Mtn Dew Ice by pairing it with Doritos Blaze.
The result was a rap battle involving the snack-food giants — as well as Peter Dinklage (aka Tyrion Lannister from “Game of Thrones”) and Morgan Freeman (aka “the Voice of God” in Bruce Almighty, et al).
Guess who’s back?
Tide had several commercials, but one of them involved bringing back an old friend to the Super Bowl.
Isaiah Mustafa reprised his role of “the Old Spice guy” for Tide’s ad that also featured a two-seated stallion, and it seemed to blend well elements of nostalgia, brevity and quick wittiness for a well-done commercial.
Tide had a good ad run Sunday, with multiple spots ranging from funny to emotional to weird.
But a reminder: don’t try to eat Tide pods.
Is this season 5 of Netflix's ‘Black Mirror?
We aren’t sure what this is selling, but the most talked about “ad” on social media during Sunday’s big game was the moment NBC’s satellites apparently lost a signal. Screens around America went black — but that’s usually when Twitter is at its finest.

We’d watch that
If you’ve been on the internet lately, you’ve seen the teaser for a new breed of "Crocodile Dundee" movie.
Is it real? Is it a spoof? Who would give us an awesome trailer for a non-movie?
The answer was revealed Sunday: that source is Australia’s brilliant tourism department.
The wait is over. Watch the full official DUNDEE trailer right here. It's the surprise no one saw coming (unless you've been on the Internet during the past two weeks). Visit https://t.co/kadAyLFwZh for more. #SeeAustralia#DundeeTourismAdpic.twitter.com/kxmGItY8tV

Anyone up for a road trip?
Why is it so dusty?
At least one commercial had to make us cry, and Budweiser gets the first nod from us.
Whether you agree with the beer company’s product, executives touted its service theme Sunday with an ad representing the 79 million cans of water it has donated for disaster relief in the past year, to locales such as Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.
Watch it, but bring a tissue, just in case.
Kraft family
Are you a Kraft family? The cheese supplier crowdsourced its Super Bowl ad and compiled a list of families willing to share their likeness with the megagiant for commercial purposes.
But nothing says American’s sporting national holiday like food, football and family, and Kraft combined all three.
Thank you to today’s real MVP... you! You helped show the world that there’s no one right way to family, there’s your way. And that’s a pretty great way. #FamilyGreatlypic.twitter.com/ymhc4qyfh8

Eli + Odell x Dirty Dancing = NFL win
The NFL has been on point for several years, buying ad spots for the league and using it to make statements (who will ever forget the Super Bowl Babies of 2016?)
Once again, the Shield knocked one out of the park — with an assist from Giants QB Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr., and a nod to “Dirty Dancing.”
