GREELY, Colo. (AP) — Andre Spight scored seven of his career-high 30 points during a 20-0 first-half run and Northern Colorado beat Idaho State 94-80 on Saturday.

Spight made 12 of 19 from the field and all five of his free-throw attempts. Anthony Johnson added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Jalen Sanders scored 10 points for Northern Colorado (12-7, 3-3 Big Sky).

Spight hit a jumper and then made a layup to spark a 20-0 run that made it 23-8 midway through the first half. Idaho State (8-8, 3-2 Big Sky) used runs of 12-5 and 11-4 to trim its deficit to four points before the Bears went into the break leading 37-31. Brandon Boyd's 3-pointer pulled the Bengals within two points early in the second half, but they got no closer. Spight converted a 3-point play to spark a 13-3 run that made it 91-76 after his layup with 1:40 to go.

Boyd led Idaho State with 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Novak Topalovic added 16 points.
