IN THE GYM — As the weather cools down, the action in the gym heats up.

Whether it’s on the court, at halftime or on the sidelines, basketball season has a lot to offer every sports fan.

Once again, we’ll take you to the basketball court for the Great Clips of the Week. As always, click the video above for the complete roundup.

Another game winner, from Herriman

It’s becoming repetitive, but welcome to high school basketball season in Utah — we had another big game winner this week.

Herriman and Jordan were tied at 46 in the final seconds of overtime Friday night, when the Mustangs’ Isi Leakehe took the pass from Jael Vaughn and beat the buzzer that gave the Mustangs a 49-46 overtime victory.

Leakehe, Blake Freehand and Kase Peterson scored nine points each to lead Herriman. Jordan’s Dyson Koehler led all scorers with 14 points.

'Cosmo is our only hope'

It’s been a rocky season for a lot of BYU fans.

But renowned mascot Cosmo has delivered with some pretty cool moments for the downtrodden, like his dance-off against the Oregon Duck on national television.

During halftime of BYU’s 77-65 win over rival Utah, the international cougar of mystery did it again.

Cosmo picked up the blue lightsaber when he was met with a unique challenger: Darth Maul … also known as “the only good thing about 'Star War: Episode I.'” The Parkour-infused theatrics that ensued were pretty good, and the University of Utah flag cameo to end the scene was also a nice touch.

Clutch gets grilled

Speaking of mascots doing newsworthy things, the Houston’s Clutch thought it would be smart to challenge George Foreman, who was sitting courtside at a Rockets game.

Bad idea, Clutch.
