SALT LAKE CITY — Classical 89 KBYU-FM will be off the air for the first time in 72 years as of June 2018, announced BYU Broadcasting’s managing director, Michael Dunn. Hoping to simplify their efforts and expand their national reach, Brigham Young University will focus on just two media properties — BYUtv and BYUradio. But what does this change mean for the community and the local arts?
