PROVO — The 2017 college football season opened in Utah this weekend, but you wouldn’t know it by the reactions in the BYU locker room.

The dominance of the 33-point favorite Cougars against FCS foe Portland State just didn’t happen in a 20-6 victory Saturday afternoon in Provo.
