CLARKSTON, Ga. (AP) — A train hit and killed a person trying to cross the tracks just outside Atlanta.

Multiple news outlets report that police said the person who died was one of several adults trying to cross the tracks in Clarkston, Georgia, when the collision happened just before 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

The train, operated by CSX, was traveling from Memphis, Tennessee, to Savannah. It included two locomotives and 50 cars. The train crew wasn't injured.
