KUNA, Idaho (AP) — A prosecutor has determined that the eight law enforcement officers who fired shots at a 32-year-old southwest Idaho man were justified in using lethal force. Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs announced his findings Friday.

BURLEY, Idaho (AP) — Authorities in south-central Idaho say the finding of two bodies inside a residence in Burley is being investigated as a homicide. The Cassia County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to a residence on Thursday evening and found a man and woman dead in the basement.

MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (AP) — A man wanted in connection with the killing of a southwest Idaho woman has been found dead. Officials say the body of 30-year-old Anthony Alan Johnson was found Friday in a heavily wooded area near the Meadows Mobile Home Park in Mountain Home.

CASCADE, Idaho (AP) — Residents in rural north-central Idaho have been told to be ready to evacuate due to a 2-square-mile wildfire burning in timber in steep terrain about 40 miles east of McCall. Authorities say the wildfire on Friday is expected to grow due to steep terrain, heavy fuels and danger to firefighters in an area with dead trees that might fall on them.
