LOVELL, Wyo. (AP) — High water is creating problems at Bighorn Lake in Wyoming and Montana.

The lake level has climbed into flood stage after heavy runoff. The boat-in-only Black Canyon campground in southern Montana is closed until the water recedes.

The Northern Wyoming Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/2uigN8Q ) parts of the Barry's Island trail is under water and there's less room on swim beaches due to the high water.

Another problem is driftwood. Driftwood including large trees has accumulated at several bends in the winding lake.

U.S. Bureau of Reclamation officials expect the lake to return to more normal levels by the end of July.
