Military family reunited when dad pretends to be Rickie Fowler's caddie

This is great. Sgt. 1st Class Bryan Greene got the chance to surprise his family when he acted as pro golfer Rickie Fowler's caddie during a charity tournament Wednesday. Greene's family was waiting, unsuspectingly, at the 18th hole.

Softball fastball surprises MLB catcher

Oklahoma's Paige Parker is one of the best pitchers in college softball, having won the Women's College World Series this year. Thanks to the win, she got the opportunity to throw the first pitch at an MLB game, and that meant warmups.

Kansas City Royals catcher Drew Butera caught her various warmups, and you can tell he was so surprised by the pace on the first ball that he was knocked over backward. Then, Parker threw some offspeed pitches with movement that surprised the major leaguers.

Celebrating cash considerations

The Portland Trail Blazers traded Tim Quarterman for cash considerations to the Houston Rockets yesterday, one of the most minor trades you could ever imagine in the NBA. But the Blazers' social media people decided to have a good time with the deal.

Hope they use that cash to give the social media coordinator a raise.
