It is amazing to witness the rapidly changing technology in photography. The digital age has brought great improvements in the ease and quality of picture taking. However, even the finest camera and a wonderful subject will not produce great results without someone who knows what they're doing behind the camera.
Kent Shelton has the experience, skill and talent to produce outstanding results. His studio, Shelton Photography on Highland Drive in Salt Lake City, has a reputation for great photography. Kent is an award-winning photographer and a Certified Professional Photographer. His full service business specializes in fine portraiture. I saw outstanding works of family groups, brides, weddings and wonderful portraits of individuals of all ages.
His refined studio lighting techniques and his skills in posing both in the studio and on location are what set him apart. The results are outstanding. Kent's services are in such demand that he frequently travels out of state to photograph families and weddings. In fact he was commissioned to photograph a wedding in Australia last summer.
Kent started his business from his home. He soon realized that he could provide better services and higher quality portraits if he had a studio and a storefront location. Three years ago, Kent purchased Russ Robison Photography. This studio had an ideal location right on "Photographers Row" on Highland Drive. Last January he purchased Soderberg Photography, one the area's most respected and successful studios. Kent tells me the studio location and acquiring Soderberg has meant a lot to the business.
If there ever was a disaster at my home and I only had time to gather a few possessions, the items I would grab first are the family portraits and photographs that mean so much to me.
