Stephen Piscotty channels his inner Scott Sterling, gets hit by baseball 3 times in 1 inning
Some sports athletes have all the luck — some don’t.
For St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Stephen Piscotty, Tuesday night was one of the unluckiest nights and innings in recent sports history.
In the fifth inning of the Cardinals’ game against the Chicago Cubs, Piscotty was hit by the baseball on three separate occasions — all in one inning and in a span of less than five minutes.
Piscotty’s luck was almost as bad as Scott Sterling’s luck. The Studio C character is famously known for getting pummeled by volleyballs and soccer balls.
Twitter account @RT_Ohio decided to combine Piscotty’s hurtful inning with some Sterling play-by-play for a hilarious video for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Nicely done … and someone get Piscotty an ice pack.
Allen Iverson parodies epic “practice” rant in Braves promo video
One of the most iconic sports press conferences in history was back in May 2002 when then-Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson went on an epic rant when reporters questioned him about practice. Iverson, who was dealing with the loss of his best friend as well as issues with then-head coach Larry Brown and trade rumors, snapped and went on a rant that featured him saying “practice” 22 times.
Almost fifteen years to the day, Iverson is back at another press conference. This time, he’s not talking about practice. He’s talking about parking.
Not a game — parking.
In a new promotional video for the Atlanta Braves and the team’s new ballpark, Sun Trust Park, Iverson takes to the podium and goes on a mini rant on parking.

OK, so Iverson may not be a gifted actor, but at least A.I. is cool enough to poke fun at himself.
Adam Wainwright’s pitch is more like a football spike
Baseball season is back. Time to smell that fresh-cut grass, grab your favorite cap and head to the ballpark.
Oh, and it’s time to see terrible wild pitches from Major League Baseball’s best. In today’s feature, we have St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright displaying what seems to be a pitch, but instead looks more like spiking a football.

The ball just got stuck to Wainwright’s hand, right?
