SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah police say a driver tried to use a stun gun on officers when they pulled him over in Salt Lake City.
KUTV reports (http://bit.ly/2mXmc0E ) that on Thursday, after Salt Lake City police officers attempted to test whether 23-year-old Joshua Barlow had been drinking alcohol, Barlow tried to use a stun gun on them. The police officers then Tasered Barlow.
Salt Lake Police say he has been arrested on suspicions of assaulting a police officer, interference and driving under the influence.
Online court records show he has not yet been charged. It is unclear if he has an attorney.
