LAS VEGAS (AP) — Jordan Poydras scored 15 points and Andrew Bastien grabbed 10 rebounds as Utah Valley pulled away from Seattle. in the second half of their Western Athletic Conference quarterfinal matchup, earning a 65-53 win at Orleans Arena Thursday afternoon.

The No. 4-seeded Wolverines had a two-point lead at intermission and pulled away from No. 5-seeded Redhawks in the second half to earn a semifinal berth against top-seeded Cal State-Bakersfield.

Utah Valley (15-15) was just 18 of 49 from the field (36.7 percent), including just 6 of 31 from beyond the arc. But the Wolverines got to the free throw line 35 times compared to Seattle's eight, and came away with 23 points.

Ivory Young scored 11 points and Brandon Randolph contributed another 10. Bastien's efforts on the glass sparked Utah Valley to a 46-26 advantage on the boards.

William Powell had 16 points and Brendan Westendorf and Matej Kavas each contributed 14 for Seattle (13-17).
