A Japanese eyeglass manufacturer normally makes about 12,000 of its model MP-704 glasses in a year. But in the past ten days, there have been 9,000 orders from around the world. That's because the glasses with the clear rims have been made famous by Sarah Palin. The glasses, made of super-light titanium, don't require screws. Instead, a thin metal strip is used to attach the lens to the frame. It's supposed to offer the wearer a clearer view.
