DRAPER, Utah (AP) — A man has died after an apartment fire in Draper.
The Deseret News reports (http://bit.ly/2hwsxxd ) that 68-year-old John Peterson was found dead Tuesday after firefighters responded to a fire in a small apartment complex.
Draper Police Deputy Chief John Eining says it's unclear if Peterson died directly as a result of the fire.
The fire is believed to have started in the bedroom where Peterson was found, though the cause is still under investigation. He lived in the apartment where the fire broke out alone.
Residents in neighboring apartments were evacuation, but their units were not damaged.
