Last year, Utah began requiring the vaccine for 7th graders but it's one of 12 states that doesn't require it for college students.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Residents throughout Utah had a snowy Sunday, including the area near Salt Lake City's airport, were weather officials say more than 8 inches fell, making it the second snowiest Christmas on record. National Weather Service Meteorologist Nick Carr said the airport received about 8.1 inches of snow by midmorning.

The Daily Herald newspaper in Provo reports the man in red gave his sleigh a break to ride a helicopter to the Spanish Fork-Springville Airport on Wednesday and hear Christmas wishes from girls and boys in southern Utah County.
