Officials seek 2 more suspects in October home invasion

RIGBY, Idaho (AP) — The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has obtained arrest warrants for two additional suspects believed to be involved in an October home invasion near Rigby that ended in a shootout.

The Idaho State Journal reports (http://bit.ly/2i3lMkZ ) that during the incident, suspect William Shinkle of Victor shot at the homeowner with a handgun but missed.

Officials say Shinkle was then seriously wounded by a shotgun fired by the homeowner's teenage son.

Shinkle remains in jail for the home invasion and authorities are searching for two additional suspects — Hillary Porter of Victor and Stoney Fisher of Idaho Falls.

The home invasion occurred on the morning of Oct. 27 at a residence about three miles east of Rigby.
