SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A winter storm warning blankets much of Utah through early Monday morning as forecasters warn of hazardous conditions affecting travel. According to the National Weather Service, snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected in valleys with 8 to 16 elevations in higher elevations.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A series of violent crimes involving teenage suspects over the last two months is raising tough questions for Utah courts, police and parents. Utah Criminal Justice Center Director Rob Butters says there's no single connecting thread between the cases, which range from teens accused in a car chase that left a police officer dead to a student who police say stabbed five of his classmates in a school locker room.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A businessman's $4 million donation will help build a Salt Lake City women's shelter and resource center that will be named after his mother. The Salt Lake Tribune reports 79-year-old Pat King said Geraldine E. King raised him and his six siblings on public assistance.

AMERICAN FORK, Utah (AP) — Authorities say an employee at a convenience store in American Fork has been shot and wounded. Police Lt. Gregg Ludlow says the 39-year-old victim was transported to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds after being found by a customer Saturday morning.
