SALT LAKE CITY — Three more fun stories from the world of sports in today's From Left Field!

1. The most intense Rock, Paper, Scissors throw ever

Is Rock, Paper, Scissors a sport? Why not? It is an athletic game of cunning and strategy, has apparently thousands of spectators, and winning means so much that the participants cry tears of joy.

Or anyway, that's what I learned from this video on Twitter, which has over 10,000 retweets.

2. Windmill dunk doesn't go down

Terrence Ross was the NBA's Slam Dunk Contest champion in 2013, but his hops might be a half-inch lower than they were back then. I think that because this dunk came up about that much short.

But you know what, props to Ross for trying to entertain us anyway. The Raptors were up 18 in the 4th, that's a safe enough lead to try to score the style points as well.

3. Ryan Tannehill's "pass"

This is what happens when you try to throw a football like a shotput.

While Ryan Tannehill is paid to throw footballs, this one qualifies as an unmitigiated disaster. Adding injury to insult, Tannehill sprained both his ACL and MCL later in the game.
