UK-based publisher Profile Books has revealed that its annual turnover has increased by 24% to GBP8.32m, with operating profit up 38% to GBP1.35m.

In addition the company, which is now ten years old, confirmed that its net assets have increased by 63% to GBP2.62m. Profile said that this is its ninth profitable year and also the ninth year of continuous profitable growth.

During the past year Profile Books has published three new titles that each sold more than 300,000 copies. The titles were Talk to the Hand, Does Anything Eat Wasps? and Untold Stories, which it published in conjunction with Faber.
