NAPLES, Fla. (AP) — Dundonald Links will host the Scottish Open twice next summer — one for men, the other for women.

The LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour announced Friday they will co-sanction the Ladies Scottish Open at Dundonald Links, on the Ayrshire coast about 5 miles north of Royal Troon. It will be played July 27-30, one week before the Women's British Open at Kingsbarns.

The men's Scottish Open at Dundonald will be July 13-16, one week before the British Open.

Aberdeen Asset Management will be the title sponsor of both tournaments.

It is rare for a course to host a men's and women's tour event in the same season. Two years ago, the U.S. Open and U.S. Women's Open were staged in consecutive weeks at Pinehurst No. 2.
