KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee has signed Evina Westbrook, rated by multiple women's basketball recruiting services as one of the nation's top two prospects in her class.

Westbrook, a 6-foot guard from Salem, Oregon, announced Thursday she would the Lady Volunteers. Tennessee officially announced the signing Friday.

Westbrook averaged 22.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 5.5 steals and 2.5 blocks last season while leading South Salem to a second consecutive state title.

All-Star Girls Report ranks Westbrook as the No. 1 prospect in her class. Westbrook is ranked second by HoopGurlz and Prospects Nation.

Tennessee's current roster includes three former Oregon high school players: Jaime Nared, Jordan Reynolds and Mercedes Russell.

Westbrook joins a recruiting class that already included 6-foot-4 post player Kasi Kushkituah of Austell, Georgia.
