CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Gov. Matt Mead has appointed Tori R. A. Kricken as the new judge for the 2nd Judicial District in Albany County. Kricken will replace District Judge Jeffrey Donnell's retirement, effective Jan. 2. Kricken is currently a staff attorney with the 2nd Judicial District.

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Defensive tackle Chase Appleby sacked Brett Rypien and forced a fumble for a safety with 1:25 left to give Wyoming a 30-28 upset victory over No. 13 Boise State on Saturday night. It was Wyoming's first win over the Broncos in 11 games between the two teams. Thousands of fans swarmed the field and the Cowboys as the final seconds ticked off.

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Gillette-based Cloud Peak Energy will resume coal exports to Asia, a positive sign in a troubled industry. The Casper Star-Tribune reports coal companies filed for Chapter 11 and prices fell to their lowest in three decades over the last year.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming authorities have identified the 13-month old boy whose body they believe was taken to a landfill in northern Colorado. Capt. Linda Gesell of the Laramie County Sheriff's Office on Friday identified the victim as Silas Anthony Ojeda of Cheyenne. Richard Ojeda of Cheyenne, the boy's grandfather, said his grandson would have turned 14 months old on Friday.
