Lehigh scores 46 straight points in drubbing of Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Dominick Bragalone ran for 182 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns and Lehigh pulled away in the second half for a comfortable 46-14 win over Holy Cross on Saturday.

Brad Mayes added 287 yards and three scores through the air for Lehigh (6-2, 3-0 Patriot League), which has won six straight after a two game losing streak to start the year.

Brendan Flaherty scored on a 5-yard run to give Holy Cross an early 7-0 lead. However that was the high point for the Crusaders, as Lehigh ripped off 46 straight points for a 46-7 lead late into the fourth.

Bragalone started the scoring with a 2-yard plunge, then added an exclamation point early in the 3rd quarter on a 66-yard run.

Domenic Cozier added a late 9-yard TD run for the Crusaders (3-5, 1-2). Cozier finished with 59 yards rushing. Jake Wieczorek added 76 yards receiving for Holy Cross.
