Congratulations to the recipients of the 11th Annual Downtown Achievement Awards presented by the Downtown Alliance. The honorees were recognized for their dedication to the success of downtown. Bishop H. David Burton of the LDS Church was honored for Advocacy. KUTV 2News, Meier & Frank; the Outdoor Industry Association, and VNU Expositions were honored for Economic Development. Salt Lake City Library, Clark Planetarium, and the Downtown Dine O’ Round were honored in the Lifestyle category. A Special Achievement Award went to Mayor Rocky Anderson’s 300 South Parking Initiative.

The Women's Business Day Luncheon is at the Little America Hotel on May 11th. The event honors Utah's top women visionaries for 2004. To register, call the Chamber at 328-5051, or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
