THIS IS LANE BEATTIE, PRESIDENT OF THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

The Salt Lake County’s Youth Employ-ability Program and the Chamber are encouraging businesses to participate in the national Groundhog Job Shadow event on Monday, February 2nd. The day gives young people the opportunity to spend a day with someone in a job field that interests them. If you would like to learn more about the Groundhog Job Shadow event, call the County at 468-2297.

The Manufacturing Extension Partnership has honored Easton Technical Products with its Large Business Technology Infusion Award.

Now is the time to nominate a small business for the Giant Step Small Business Awards. Nominations are due tomorrow in several categories. For more information, contact the Chamber at 328-5053, or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
