One of the more humorous elements of the conventions are the creative hats and clothing the delegates wear. Of course, the Democrats also had a lot of fun stuff, but I didn't document it very well. This time, I thought I'd get a sampling of some of the more colorful outfits i saw on the convention floor today. My favorite are the hats; the vet with the construction hat and teddy bear on top. And the couple with the elephant-and-uncle-sam hat. It takes some of the edge off the convention. By this time, they're anxious for some 'meat'. (By the way, one of these colorful women was being interviewed by ABC's John Stossel when I snapped the picture. It's the 'other' network, but I've always liked him.)
