This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

The Konecny family really loves cars. As I sat in the office of Tint Wizard & Car Trix in Ogden, I could see the excitement in the eyes of Johnny, his wife Kim and his brother Tyrone.

The family does specialty custom work on cars. "Anything that is 'after market,'" is the way Johnny explained what they do. "We 'soup' motors, do major sound systems and do ground effects on cars," he said. "Ground effects, what's that?" I asked. He told me that happens when young drivers like to lower the body of their vehicles so that they hug the ground.

The company is noted for their quality window tinting and the installation of world-class car audio systems. Johnny said they only use the finest suppliers, and Diamond and Cross Fire brands are well recognized as the best you can buy. The prime components are then installed and serviced by experts in each area. At Tint Wizard and Car Trix there are specialists in sound, tinting, motor enhancements and other disciplines.

The Konecnys are also civic activists. They pride themselves on being a voice for young automobile enthusiasts who need help in communicating with civic leaders and law enforcement officials. Ogden City wants to take all of the young drivers off of Washington Boulevard in the late evening. The kids like to "cruise" the boulevard and show off their vehicles and sound systems. The Konecnys maintain that Washington is where they should be. If they are not allowed there, they will go someplace else. Washington Boulevard at night is deserted. They think it would be much more disruptive if the teens were to go into another area where they could disturb residents.

Good work in their business and involvement in their community. That's the goal of Tint Wizard and Car Trix.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
