Today, at the Little America Hotel, is the 27th Annual American Express Women & Business Conference. Right now at the conference, is the Athena Award Luncheon, sponsored by Wells Fargo Women’s Financial Services. The recipient of this year’s Athena Business Leader of the Year Award is Becky Berkey Potts, Vice President and General Manager of AT&T Wireless Utah/Idaho District. During the past decade, Becky has led AT&T Wireless to year-over-year double-digit growth with revenue in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Becky has been very active in the Chamber and also many other non-profit boards in Salt Lake. She is an accomplished speaker as well and has served as a role model and mentor throughout the community. Congratulations to Becky Berkey Potts, on being chosen as this year’s Athena Award.
