Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel news. Ballet West, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, has hired Denise Bégué as Director of Development. Deseret Morning News and KJZZ-TV have hired Bob Wood the first full-time executive Race Director for the annual Deseret Morning News Marathon and 10K road races. Big-D Construction has promoted Cory Moore to a position in business development. Big-D has also named Casey Error as Copywriter.

Jack Schiefer, Sales Center Vice President for AT&T Business Services in Salt Lake for 18 years, has just launched a new venture called J2D Connect. With Jack’s partners, Denise Cooper and John Schiefer, J2D Connect provides data and voice communications solutions for organizations of all types and sizes.
