THIS IS LANE BEATTIE, PRESIDENT OF THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel news. O’Currance Teleservices, a provider of inbound telemarketing products and services, has hired Blake Rigby as its Chief Financial Officer, and Steve Mazzella as Call Center Manager. Doctor Jason Bruse and Doctor Scott Johnson have joined the IHC Physician Group.

This afternoon the Salt Lake Chamber is presenting its Honors in the Arts Award and the Utah Arts Council is presenting the Governor's Award in the Arts. The recipient of the Chamber’s Honors in the Arts--Philanthropic Award is Haven J. Barlow. Without Haven’s efforts, many of Utah's cultural institutions, facilities and infrastructure would not exist today. The recipient of the Governor's Award in the Arts--“Artist Award” is Connie Borup. Connie is a long-time art educator and well-known painter. Both winners will have their portraits, donated by Busath Photography, hung in Abravanel Hall and in the Chamber offices. For more information about Honors in the Arts, call the Chamber at 364-3631 or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
