Can you tell me what time the moon rises this Saturday, August 12? And is there a web site with this information?

Thanks, Anton H.

Moon rise occurs when the upper level of the disk can be seen on the horizon. Moon rise can also happen during the day time!

You can find out the moon rise for anyday by using the calculator from the US Naval Observatory. The link is on the right. You can also use weatherunderground.com and when you get to the forecast page, set the calendar for your desired date to get astronomical information for that day.
