The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says a parking control officer for the city of Rosemead was punched in the head by the suspect while writing a ticket yesterday morning. Deputies say he then took her city vehicle and fled. Deputies caught up with the man at a nearby McDonald's restaurant about 20 minutes later. They say they responded with force after he lunged at one of them, and that he became unresponsive after being restrained and handcuffed.
