Don’t forget the Chamber’s Business to Business Expo starts next week, Wednesday, April 30th through Friday, May 2nd at the Salt Palace.

The Utah Arts Festival will be held at Library Square this year. It runs from June 19th through the 22nd.

On Wednesday March 26, 2003 the Salt Lake County Youth Employ-ability Services (the Y.E.S. program) in conjunction with the Salt Lake Chamber held their first Celebrating Success event, which honored 18 young men and women who completed the Y.E.S. program. These young men and women received certificates for their outstanding accomplishments in education, career training, and personal goals. These events will be held quarterly. The next event will be held June 26 2003. For further information please contact the Y.E.S. program at 468-3100.

Mountain West College has announced a new degree program in Surgical Technology. This is an associate degree program that takes 18 to 24 months to complete.

The Orton Group, a Salt Lake City advertising and PR firm, has completed an industry branding campaign for Arnold Machinery Company. The campaign includes six full-page ads placed in trade magazines.
