Don’t forget the Chamber’s Business to Business Expo starts next week, Wednesday, April 30th through Friday, May 2nd at the Salt Palace.

U.S. Bank has honored several local employees with their quarterly Pinnacle Award. Adam Hill, Kraig Murdock, Raval Rasmussen, and Jared Bradford won for “outstanding achievement.”

DoxTek recently installed their document management system at Paul McGarrell’s Farmer’s Insurance Agency in Sandy. The DoxTek system allows employees to search and retrieve images of original customer insurance records electronically.

Furst Construction has been contracted to build the new 38,000 square foot Jordan River Apartments in West Jordan. A groundbreaking celebration for the three-acre senior rental housing development was held April 17th.

Volunteers of America recently recognized the contributions of 90 retired and senior volunteers in Tooele County.

According to a recent survey by Accountemps, most workers say they will stay in their current jobs even when the economy rebounds. Sixty-five percent of workers said they will not change jobs in the next six months even if conditions improve. Over one-third of workers, however, said they would change jobs underscoring the importance of staff retention efforts in any economic environment.
