Wells Fargo has awarded Jen Hut, a service manager at Wells Fargo in Murray, with up to four months of paid leave to provide community service to Utah’s needy. The paid absence is part of Wells Fargo’s Volunteer Leave Program. Jen is the first person in Utah to receive this honor.

Cornerstone Counseling Center has been awarded $55,000 dollars from the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation to provide substance abuse and domestic violence treatment and prevention services to low-income families.

Crowell Advertising, Marketing & PR recently won “Best of Show” at the Utah Advertising Foundation’s ADDY Awards. The top award went to Crowell for their humorous radio ad for ClearBra--a transparent vinyl cover for automobile fronts. They also took home the Special Judges Award for a series of Utah Department of Health anti-tobacco ads that feature a smelly overgrown laboratory rat.

The Metropolitan has announced its new spring menu--including Utah gourmet elk, seared crispy-skinned black bass, crab fritters, sea urchin, and spice cake.
