DENVER (AP) -- Jeff Cunningham scored two goals and had an assist as Real Salt Lake beat the Colorado Rapids 4-1 Wednesday night.
Cunningham scored in the 25th minute off of a long ball from Carey Talley, then crossed a ball for an assist on a Chris Klein goal in the 63rd minute. Cunningham scored again on a penalty kick in the 76th minute.
The Rapids scored in the 85th minute on a short corner from Nicolas Hernandez to Aitor Kranka who crossed the ball to Thiago Martins who headed his first goal with Colorado.
Chris Brown scored an unassisted goal for Salt Lake during stoppage time.
