Foote, Passey, Griffin & Co. announced that they are now Mayer Hoffman McCann—an independent CPA firm specializing in audit services for mid-market businesses, non-profits, and governmental entities.

Stoel Rives and Wasatch Digital IQ magazine just announced at a luncheon today the winners of the 2003 Innovation Awards. The six winners are for Biotechnology, Eschelon Biosciences; for Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals & Neutraceuticals, Brigham Young University; for Medical Devices, Rubicon Medical Corporation; for Computer Software & Web Services, SilconOptics; for Electrical Devices, MaxStream; and for Mechanical Devices & Advanced Materials, Brigham Young University. One goal of the event, according to Stoel Rives attorney Kevin Laurence, is to build “the credibility of Utah’s high-tech industry.”
