With a month remaining until the first home football game, the University of Utah has already set a school record for season ticket sales. The 22,050 season tickets sold as of Monday breaks the old school mark of 21,540, set last year.

Even with the record-setting advance sales, season tickets are still available in every section and can be purchased by phone (801-581-UTIX), online (www.utahtickets.com) and at the Rice-Eccles Stadium box office.

Individual tickets for all home games, including the BYU game on Nov. 25, go on sale Aug. 14 at 10 a.m.

The current season ticket total means Utah's season ticket sales have climbed by over 6,000 since 2001's mark of 15,809. Season tickets since 2001 include sales of 17,049 in 2002, 16,147 in 2003 and 19,555 in 2004.
