Layton Construction was recently recognized for its work by Intermountain Contractor with "Best of 2002" awards. The Taylorsville Recreation Center was named Outstanding Recreational Project of 2002 and The SkyBox Sports Grille at the Gateway was recognized as the Outstanding Interior Project of 2002.

Dave Knutson, a Senior Consultant for the Ralston Consulting Group, is leading an effort at Lincoln Elementary School to teach computer literacy to the students. The program, called "TILT toward success," is a partnership between the Salt Lake Society for Human Resource Management, The University of Utah, Ralston Consulting Group, and O.C. Tanner.

According to the Wells Fargo Wasatch Front area Cost of Living Report, the cost of living dropped 0.3 percent in December.

John Bird, President of Albion Financial Group of Salt Lake City, was recently chosen as one of the top 150 financial advisors for physicians according to Medical Economics Magazine.

NPS Pharmaceuticals announced that it has completed a comprehensive redesign of it corporate website at www.npsp.com. The new site gives more information about its research, product development, and business operations. Cogbox created and implemented the site.
