NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans now have waived 12 players to start trimming the roster before Tuesday's league deadline to reach 75.
That group includes center Andy Gallik who was waived as injured. Gallick recently had arthroscopic surgery on a knee.
The team on Sunday also waived safety Lamarcus Brutus, offensive tackle William Campbell, wide receivers Donte Foster and Reece Horn, linebackers Deiontrez Mount and Amarlo Herrera, cornerbacks Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Tyler Patman, offensive lineman Nick Richter and defensive end Mike Smith.
Coach Mike Mularkey announced just after wrapping up his news conference that the Titans also waived defensive end Ropati Pitoitua as well. The veteran was due $3 million this season in the third and final year of a deal signed in 2014.
