Orbit Irrigation Products recently announced their newest product, the “Automatic Yard Watering Kit.” The kit turns a hose faucet into an automatic above ground sprinkler system.

Big-D Construction Company has been awarded a contract to complete the Malt-O-Meal cereal plant in Tremonton. The contract coincides with Malt-O-Meal’s recent acquisition of Quaker Foods domestic bagged cereal business. Big-D had previously built the shell of the plant before the project had been put on hold due to a downturn in the bagged cereal business. The project is estimated at $30 million dollars.

The Stoel Rives Utah Innovation Awards are seeking nominations of companies in Biotechnology; Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, and Nutraceuticals; Medical Devices; Computer Software and Web Services; Electrical Devices; and Mechanical Devices and Advanced Materials.
