Audio products from ClearOne Communications have been installed in Midland Loan Services' new corporate headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas.

United Way of Salt Lake has developed a resource directory entitled "United Way at Work." The directory outlines the many services that the United Way funds. The directory was designed to make it easy to find specific help for people to solve individual problems. For copies or information, go to www.uw.org.

Utah Shakespearean Festival Managing Director Scott Phillips was recently elected as a member in the New York City-based National Theater Conference. The National Theater Conference is a prestigious group of 125 theater professionals from around the country that meet to exchange ideas and goals.

R&O Construction recently was awarded the "Jurors' Favorite" award at the first annual Canstruction Competition at Crossroads Mall. The Canstruction Competition features various designs created by using cans. The competition is to benefit the Utah Food Bank and is at Crossroads Mall until January 2nd. It features a Saltair made out of salt, canyons made of cans, a cathedral, and R&O's winning recreation of Delicate Arch.

Every year the Chamber honors the best small business successes at the Giant Step Small Business Awards. Nominations are being accepted through the end of December.
