KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities say a woman who was found dead near Knoxville is believed to be a missing East Tennessee State University student.

Media outlets reports investigators from the Greene County Sheriff's Office found 20-year-old Diana Guzman's car in woods near the Interstate 40-Interstate 75 exchange, and the body was found not far from the wreckage. The Sheriff's Office says in a news release that a Tennessee Department of Transportation worker had found Guzman's wallet on the road Friday in Loudon County.

Guzman was last seen at her home in Chuckey on Aug. 10. She was reported missing by her family the next day when she did not show up for her shift at her family's restaurant.
