Hoopes Vision Correction Center announced the FDA approval of the Alcon customized wavefront-guided laser eye surgery application. This new technology measures aberrations in patients’ eyes--making a more precise laser surgery possible. Hoopes anticipates being able to perform this new procedure by the end of the year.
The American Express Women & Business Conference is next week on November 7th. There will be great workshops and, at the Athena Award Luncheon (sponsored by Wells Fargo Women’s Financial Services), the Chamber will give the prestigious Athena Award and the Pathfinder Awards. The Pathfinder award is given to community leaders who have a history of support for women and women’s issues.
