U.S. Bank hired Jerry Curtis as Vice President and Relationship Manager for Commercial Banking in the Salt Lake City metro district.

The Celebration of Life Donor Monument will be built on the new Library Square east of the City and County Building. The monument will memorialize organ donors as heroes and help educate and inspire individuals about the importance of donation.

The American Express Women & Business Conference is next week on November 7th. There will be great workshops and, at the Athena Award Luncheon (sponsored by Wells Fargo Women’s Financial Services), the Chamber will give the prestigious Athena Award and the Pathfinder Awards. The Pathfinder award is given to community leaders who have a history of support for women and women’s issues. One of this year’s Pathfinders is Karen Mecham of Greenbacks Bringing Hope.
